- Start by measuring your device in Otii as you normally would. Capture sleep states, active bursts, transmission cycles, or any other activity your firmware performs.
- Open the Battery Life Estimator, and define the device profile, including all the activities you just recorded and how often you want them to repeat.
- Select a battery profile, either one you’ve created yourself or one you’ve imported.
- Run the estimation to see your device’s runtime. You’ll also get used capacity and battery voltage throughout the full discharge cycle.
- You can swap batteries, change activity settings, or test different firmware scenarios. Save each run so you can compare results directly.
